Felice Castegnaro, nasce a Montebello Vicentino nel 1872 ed è quindi un mio compaesano.
Mi dispiace che a Montebello quasi nessuno conosca la sua pittura, a causa della scarsissima informazione che ruota attorno a questo artista.
Mi piacerebbe farlo conoscere ai miei compaesani, magari attraverso una mostra retrospettiva. I suoi dipinti, grazie anche all’insegnamento di Ettore Tito, sono reale espressione della pittura veneta tra la fine del XIX e l’inizio del XX secolo.
