Piatto in ceramica dipinto a mano con “La Rotonda”, di Otello De Maria, Vicenza, 1960

Piatto in ceramica del 1960 realizzato da Otello De Maria, raffigurante la Villa “Rotonda” di Andrea Palladio a Vicenza.
Otello De Maria è fra le figure più rappresentative della pittura vicentina del novecento ed è stato insegnante per oltre cinquant’anni alla Scuola d’Arte e Mestieri di Vicenza, dimostrandosi contemporaneamente artista sensibile ed attento alle innovazioni.
L’oggetto è prodotto per l’industria Ceramica Vicentina ICV. Porta il timbro originale sul retro del piatto. Sul bordo della raffigurazione, invece, è presente la scritta “La Rotonda, Vicenza” e la firma dell’artista. Il piatto ha un diametro di 34 cm e una profondità di 2,5 cm.
Un pezzo adatto per collezionisti e appassionati di ceramica d’arte, che unisce la tradizione artigianale italiana alla celebrazione di un’icona architettonica.
Lo stato di conservazione è buono.
